For the person who writes the words

Edit your team's site. No tech stuff.

You get an email. Click the link. You're editing, like a Notion doc, but it's your team's real website. The page updates when you save.

Your developer sent you here. Here's what it'll look like for you.

This is the editor. Click any heading, paragraph, or photo to edit it.

01 · What you don't need

Almost nothing.

No GitHub account. No password to remember. No tutorial. Just a free Mac app and the invite your developer sent you.

01

No GitHub. No accounts to set up.

No GitHub login, no developer tooling, no OAuth screens. Your invite link is the key.

02

One small app to download.

Lumen is a free Mac app: a single drag into Applications. After that, the invite link signs you in.

03

No training required.

It looks like Notion. Click a heading. Type. Save. That's the whole thing.

02 · How it works

Email, install, edit.

  1. 01

    You get an email link.

Your developer sends you an invite. It arrives like any other email.

  2. 02

You download Lumen and click the link.

Free Mac app, one drag into Applications. The invite signs you in. No account, no password to remember.

  3. 03

You type. You save. It's live.

Your changes flow back to your developer's setup. The site updates the way it always has.

03 · Questions you might have

What if I mess up?

Will I break something?

No. Every change is reviewable, and nothing goes live until you save. Your developer can roll back any change in seconds.

Do I need to learn anything new?

If you've used Google Docs or Notion, you already know how to use this. Click. Type. Save.

What if I want to add a photo?

Drag it in. Or click the photo placeholder and pick one. That's the whole flow.

How do I see what my changes will look like?

The preview updates next to what you're editing. What you see is what gets published.

When you're ready

Ask your developer for an invite.

They've got Lumen open right now. Tell them you've read this page. They'll send you a link.
